HANDOVER OF MGANJA HOSTEL PROJECT

On 24th October 2023, PBM Construction Company handled over a Hostel project that was constructed at Tiyende Pamodzi Girls Secondary School at Mganja Village in Dedza District. This project was funded by Nazareth Foundation Malawi and this hostel handover was part of long term agreement between the client and the contractor.

PBM Construction Company also constructed eight classrooms, a Nursery school, a water system and staff houses. Handing over of this hostel project was part of the effort to increase the girls’ participation and level of concentration on their studies. Other than being distracted by other household chores and other things, these girls will be given a time to sorely focus on their studies.

Presiding over the handing over ceremony, Mrs. Ineke Hendrickx looked satisfied with the project. She went further highlighting that the donors are satisfied and that they are planning to extend the project further by funding many structures like another hostel, staff houses and a guest house.

Commenting on the project, a project consultant Mr. Tsiga also showcased a level of satisfaction on the project. He went further pointing that out that he was happy after noticing that some of the improvements were made on the project and that everything was in order. Mr. Tsiga has been providing has been taking a crucial role in advising and providing consultancy role on this project.

Looking forward, PBM Construction looks determined and ready to take other projects that are on the pipeline. PBM Construction adhered to environmental measures by constructing the whole project with concrete blocks and planting more trees.
