PBM PROMOTES 5 EMPLOYEES

As part of employee motivation and appreciation, PBM Management has promoted five employees. These employees have shown zeal and deligence in their working categories. 

Clara Jere has been promoted from Environmental, Social, Health and Safety Specialist to the position of Enironmental, Safety, Health and Qulaity Manager. Clara has been very keen in issues to do with quality of different projects that the company has been undertaking (both water projects and construction). She was taking leading role in quality checks and making sure that all defects and any low quality works were rectified in good time. With this, the Management thought it wise to promote her so that she can be acountable to the quality of the works that PBM is currently doing. She graduated with Bachelor of Environmental Health at University of Malawi, The Polytechnic. 

Mercy Salama has been promoted from  the position of Accountant to Finance Manager. Mercy Salama is one of the dedicated staff that PBM currently have. Winning different awards before (employee of the month and many others), Mercy is always dedicated and decisive in all her works. At this position, she will therefore be responsible for all activities happening under Finace and Accounting team. She will directly report to Finance and Administration Director. Mercy Salama has a Bachelor of Accountancy from University of Malawi, The Polytechnic.

Harry Saiwa has been promoted to the position of Procurement and Supply chain Officer. Harry Saiwa is one of the dedicated staff with a spirit of making sure that things are happening in time. Harry started working as an Intern three years ago and he has shown a spirit of hardwork and dedication in all his works. With this promotion, Hary Saiwa will be responsible for all procurement and Supply of all materials to different sites that PBM has now (both water projects and construction).Harry Saiwa will graduate in May this year at Pnetecostal University with a Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain.

Chigomezyo Shaba has been promoted to a position of Procurement and Contracts Officer. Chigomezyo Shaba has shown hardworking spirit and dedication from the very first day she was employeed as an Intern late last year. She was responsible for procurement and supply chain of different sites like; St. Patricks, JB and Energy Storage Africa. With her hardworking spirit to learn and curiosity, she has proven to be on of the employees that PBM can heavily rely on. With this promotion, she will be responsible for all procurement and Contracts that PBM is involved in. Chigomezyo Shaba will graduate in May this year at Pentecostal Life University with Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain Management. 

Rodwell Ziyaya has been promoted to a position of Head of Investments and Marketing from the position of Business Development Specialist. Rodwell Ziyaya has been working with for almost a year now and has shwon zeal and and courage in as far as marketing and revamping investments is concerned. Rodwell Ziyaya will be responsible for co-ordinating all investments under PBM Group (Concrete Products, Workshop, Briquettes, PBM Mega Farms, Funland  and many other investments that will fall under investments). Rodwell Ziyaya Graduated from The University of Malawi, The Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Business Communication, he also did Advanced Diploma in Computing and Information Systems at The University of Malawi, Chancellor Collge. Currently he has enrolled with Malawi College of Accountancy (third year- doing Bachelor Management Information Systems on weekends).
