Balaka Trauma Center

Due to increased cases of accidents along M1 road, The Government of Malawi under Roads Authority came up with a project to construct Balaka & Dedza Trauma Centers to increase efficiency in treatment of patients along the M1 Road.

This center was built within Balaka & Dedza District Hospitals. The centers have 14 beds each have since been completed by PBM Construction and are fully functional.

Since completion in July 2023, these trauma centers are expected to serve hundreds and thousands of victims of accidents around these areas per year.
